My latest pattern, the Brandt Shirt has been released!
I really don’t know what the source of inspiration for this design was. It just sort of happened almost by accident when I was working on the neckline of another pattern.
The main feature of the Brandt Shirt is it’s high cross-over collar. This collar is a bit like a turtle neck, only with a lapped detail at the front. I think the collar adds a bit of sophistication.
Even though the Brandt Shirt looks dressy, it’s also comfortable enough to be a play shirt. I, of course, designed it with my boys in mind but it looks cute on girls too, which you’ll see in my tester photo round up coming soon.
The Brandt Shirt is quick to sew and suitable for an advanced beginner. It’s designed for knits, with 4-way stretch knit with at least 75% stretch recommended for the collar.
